... important to me since this was going to be my first time introducing Aubrey to someone I liked. I felt proud of having someone as amazing as Jess with me. I wanted to tell her everything, and I wanted to introduce them if they didn't know each other yet. It made me happy thinking about them getting to know each other, and I wanted them to get along well since I regard Aubrey's opinion very highly.

It didn't take long for my phone to ring with a notification--Aubrey was here. The girls stayed in the room so Aubrey and I could have our sisters meeting, and we would meet up with them later. I excitedly rushed to the front door, and there she was, standing by the entrance, looking around nostalgically. If El thought I looked like a model, she would go crazy with Aubrey. Aubrey was tall, taller than most girls. Her dark skin glowed even indoors. Her chocolate brown hair was perfectly braided, and her hazel eyes lit up when she saw me.

"Sisi!" she shrieked happily.

She opened her arms, and I threw myself into her hug. We spun in each other's arms like characters in movies.

"I missed you!" I said when we parted the hug.

"Not more than I did!" she answered with a big bright smile. "Now come on, I want to see your room."

"Don't you want a tour?" I asked jokingly.

"God no!" she answered, laughing. "I know this place better than the palm of my hand, and I hate it."

"So," she asked, looking a bit serious, "are you really enjoying it here? Or are you lying so I don't worry about you?"

"I swear I'm actually enjoying it," I answered, giving her a big smile. "It's nothing like school. I have plenty of friends, even a BFF, and although there are some not-so-nice girls, they rarely bother me."

"I'm so happy for you, Sisi," she answered, grasping my hands. "I felt so apprehensive that you were going to have to live through something you hated again."

"Me too, but everything worked out for the best," I averted my gaze a little. "Even the hazing."

"Oh god!" Aubrey lowered her head and pressed it against her palms. "I'm so sorry, Sisi! I know I did the right thing not telling you and asking Maddy to handle it, but still, I feel so guilty!"

"Hey," I said soothingly, rubbing her back. "It's okay. It wasn't bad, and plus," I hesitated before mustering the courage to let the words come out of my mouth, "I met someone during the hazing. We're hooking up."

She quickly raised her head and looked at me with wide eyes, a freaked-out look on her face.

"What do you mean, met someone during the hazing?" She sounded shocked.

"Well, she was the one who hazed me, and you probably know what I mean by that," I said, feeling myself blush. "And we kept hooking up after that. I like her, and I think she likes me too."

"If she hazed you, that means she's a senior, isn't she? What's that girl's name?"
