"Do you get it now?" Gigi asked.

"Yes! Thank you so much! I was having so much trouble in Mrs. Robinson's course," I answered, smiling brightly at her.

Gigi and I were at the sorority's private library. Classes had started two weeks ago, and even though I got the best grade in the entrance exam, I was having trouble with some subjects. Thankfully, some of the older girls in the sorority made themselves available to tutor the youngest members. Gianna was one of these girls.

Gigi was a beautiful girl with straight black hair and beautiful blue eyes. Just like me, Gigi's parents came from Italy, so having that in common, we got closer, and she frequently tutored me as she was very smart and good at teaching.

"You're so smart, Sisi!" Gianna said playfully, patting the top of my head and messing up my hair. "Usually it takes more than one session to teach this subject, but you're such a quick learner."

"Thanks, but I learned quickly because you're also such a great teacher, Gigi."

Gigi smiled brightly and draped her hand over my shoulders, pulling me closer.

"So, wanna go out for a drink to celebrate us being such a great student and wannabe teacher duo?"

"That would be-"

"Absolutely impossible," a voice interrupted me from behind.

I turned around, startled by Jess's sudden appearance. She was standing there, arms crossed and a poisonous smile on her face.

"Jess, you're here," Gigi said, and she didn't even ...

"Obviously I am," Jess said, getting closer and placing her hands on my shoulders. "Sienna and I have some things to solve."

"No, we--" I looked at Jess, and her eyes were ablaze. She stared at me, and I clearly understood she was daring me to go against her. "Actually, she's right. Sorry, Gigi."

"No problem, Sisi! We can go next time," Gigi said as she reached her hands to squeeze mine, making Jess grunt.

I put my stuff back in my bag and got up to leave with Jess, who quickly grabbed my hand in her own. As we were leaving, Jess turned around and looked at Gigi.

"You know, Gianna, haven't I told you already that it's unseemly to only tutor the girls you want to fuck?" Jess said, her voice dripping with poison. "Maybe I should tell Mrs. Robinson that you're taking your teacher-student fetish beyond her bedroom."

My eyes went wide at Jess's insult, but Gigi just rolled her eyes. I got the impression that all the older girls were already used to Jess's sharp tongue, but I definitely wasn't. Jess held my hand tightly as she led me to her room. Once we were there, she just sat on the bed and stared at me as if she was the most innocent girl on the planet. I crossed my arms, frowning.

She just shrugged at me.
