"Aubrey's coming today?" Maddy gasped, terrified.

We were hanging out in Maddy's room since it was Saturday and we didn't have any classes. She rushed to her wardrobe and started quickly grabbing the clothes.

"What's the matter?" El asked, frowning at Maddy's sudden rush.

"Aubrey always checks on Maddy's wardrobe when she comes over," Sarah said, shrugging.

"Why? It's not like she's your mom," El said.

"She's worse," Maddy answered. "She was my sorority older sister, and since she found out my wardrobe looks like a glimpse of hell, she started checking every week, and even now, she still takes a look when she drops by."

"She cares that much?" El asked, sounding surprised. "I only saw my assigned older sister twice since I moved here."

"Aubrey can't stand mess," I told El. "She's always been like that since we were little; she organized her dolls by color and size."

"She's a control freak," Sarah said.

"Don't say that about her!" Maddy reprimanded her.

"Sarah!" I reprimanded her in a tone she had heard at least ten times just that day.

"Sorry, your bitch sex buddy."

"Maybe," I said, trying to ignore Sarah's sassiness. "If the topic comes up, I might mention to her that I'm hooking up with someone."

"Is she the type to get jealous?" El asked.

"Ew, she's her sister!" Maddy said as she started putting the clothes back in the wardrobe, making sure they were nice and tidy.

"I don't mean romantic jealousy, you stupid only child," El answered, rolling her eyes. "I mean fraternal jealousy. My five older brothers have that. Whenever I'm dating someone, all of them show up from wherever they are to whine about my love life."

"My little sister also had that," Sarah admitted. "When I started dating my boyfriend, she cried, saying I didn't care about her anymore."

"I don't know, girls," I said. "This has never happened before. I've never had romantic experiences before Jess. So I don't know how Aubrey will react. She's a bit on the overprotective side."
