Jenny's face flushed red when Mom said, "You look so pretty in that dress. The boys will be lining up to be with you sweetheart." Mom continued to smile as she had Jenny model the silky dress in clear view of the other shoppers.

One older lady even complimented Millie as Jenny was showing her the new dress, "That dress looks nice on her, you have two pretty daughters," Mom glowed with delight and thanked the woman as she smiled proudly at the girls.

After paying for the dresses, Mom took the girls to the shoe department. Mom and Sally enjoyed the scene when the cute teenage salesman helped Jenny try ...

"He's cute, don't you think so Jenny?" Sally teased as the boy was boxing up the purchase.

"Shhhhhh, stop it, he'll hear you. I just want to go home. Stop teasing me," Jenny begged. Mom and Sally enjoyed his predicament and giggled at Jenny's behavior. On the way out of the mall Millie complimented her.

"Jenny, you seemed to have gotten used to your new nails, and your movements have improved. You're a natural at this, and your dad will be happy with your efforts. We know you wanted this deep down, and I can tell by your enthusiasm and how well you're going along with everything, that you're going to enjoy the summer.

Maybe your dad was right and you need to live like us girls for a while to see what it's like. You'll learn that it's not all fun and games being a girl, but I promise that you'll learn that over the summer. In the meantime, I'm starting to enjoy you this way, and I think we're going to have an extremely fun summer."

Carrying their purchases to the car, Sally stopped a cute guy who was walking past them and asked the boy to take their photo. Jenny realized that the boy was Josh Kelly, the high school quarterback from his school.
