... excited and a little scared. I was fortunate to get an early check-in to prepare everything in the room knowing Milly would be on time at 3:00. At 3:05 I checked myself one last time in the mirror. With Alli's sunglasses on it was scary how much I looked like my sister. When I got to the hotel bar and could see Milly at the table and she hadn't recognized me yet. I sent her a text that simply said, "We are in character beginning now. I am Alli your mother and you are my daughter. You will treat me with the same respect you would your mother."

I didn't wait for her reply. When I saw her read her phone I started walking her way. She was typing a response when she looked up and saw me I could tell in her mind she thought was her mother. A bit of a panicked look overcame her and she said, "Mom?"

"Yes darling, who did you expect?"

That was something my sister would say and I said it in my best imitation of Alli. Of course, Milly figured out quickly that it was me and stayed in her role. The sun in the atrium helped so I could keep the sunglasses on adding to my motherly identity.

"You look amazing Mom! Did you do something different with your hair?" "I thought I would make it a little more modern to try to keep up with my older sister who is always so put together."

That broke the ice for her and she relaxed

"Yes, Aunt Beth is pretty hot but Mom, if you were on the market it wouldn't be for long."

"Thanks, darling, so nice of you to say."

The waiter came ...

... over and I ordered martinis for both of us. They carded Milly but I knew she had a fake ID so that was not a problem.

"Bring us both two. We have some serious mother-daughter business to discuss and we don't want to be interrupted for a bit."

The waiter agreed and I did my best to make the kind of small talk that Milly and her mother would have. When the waiter arrived we toasted our first one.

"A toast to new discoveries," and we touched glasses.

I downed mine immediately so Milly followed suit and then I took a sip of the second and lowered my voice.

"Darling, you are probably wondering what the occasion is for this meeting."

"I kind was mom, I mean, I'm going to be back for Christmas break next week so this must be something important."

"Honestly, I just didn't want your father listening in and this is just between us girls."

"Ok Mom, I trust you."

"Good, because I'm going to trust you with some information and it needs to be kept safe."

I could tell she was looking a little nervous so I added, "Don't fret about anything. This is all good and I hope it has a very happy ending."

Using a little Innuendo seems to help. I took another big gulp as did Milly and I began.

"When I was a little younger than you, I went for a hike around what was then Uncle Bill and Aunt Cathy's cabin. I saw something that changed me forever."

Playing along tentatively Milly asked, "What was that?"

"I saw your Aunt Beth and Uncle Bill having sex."
