... walked towards her. “Sir,” she responded, not knowing his name. As they crossed paths, he swatted her bare buttock, and she yelped in surprise. She whirled to say something, but as she started to address his retreating back, she realized that this would likely be part of the day’s difficulties. Why had being fucked by a stranger over her boss’s desk been in some ways easier than this? She made her way to her cubicle without further incident, and she carefully stashed her clothes in her desk drawer. After an hour or so of work at her computer, she heard Elliot Sanchez’s voice over the cubicle partition. “Anne! Oh, Anne! I need my caffeine fix!” She cursed silently. Why had she made that bet with Elliott? During orientation the previous week it had been made clear that the newest associates were responsible for keeping the coffee maker in their cubicle village always full. Elliot had decided to try to find a way out of it. Their assigned mentor had nixed the attempt, but Elliot had settled for trying to find some solace in the situation. She knew she would have to leave the cubicle eventually. “Coming up.” She took a deep breath and stood up. From that position, she could see just over the tops of the partitions into the sea that was called “cubicle village.” No one else was standing, so it looked empty, but the hum of noise and muffled voices made it clear that it was busy. She would have to walk to the other side of the village to get to the coffee station. As soon she walked out of her cubicle, she saw Arthur O’Grady, another of her entering cohort, walking perpendicular to her down the hallway. As soon as he saw her, his draw dropped, his head swiveled fast enough to give him whiplash, and he crashed into a cubicle partition, making it shake. She walked quickly to the other end of the village towards the little break room station. As she proceeded, she heard a murmur grow in size, and she could hear and feel the presence of a growing crowd behind her. “Great, just great,” she muttered to herself. She imagined every eye devouring her body, and as before, her ass felt particularly exposed and on display. Anne could not bring herself to look over her shoulder to see how many people were there and to ...
