Not that it mattered much now as he assumed his ordeal was over. Patty and Shannon coming around from their respective sides of the building joined up with the pair while Ned was pleading his case.

Shannon cut him off, "we thought we'd better get him to the Principal's office before the next bell rings."

"Right," Mr. Williams said, looking at his watch, "you better hurry."

"No," cried Ned, "why don't you take me?"

"Because, I'm in charge of all these kids," he said, pointing back the way he'd come, "who thanks to you are incredibly riled up. Now go on," and pointing his finger at Ned with all the gravitas a 25 year old could muster, and added "and no more trouble out of you!"

"You heard the man," laughed Patty, "let's have no more trouble out of you."

They opened the door to the Senior's wing which also housed the Admin offices down at the opposite end of the building.

Ned was struck by the cool blast of AC as they entered the building, but mostly was just relieved to see the halls were empty. He knew that the other group was occupying all the classrooms on this wing.He was anxious to get to the Principals office and put this all behind him.

He took a step forward but was pulled back by Moon.
