Part 1 - The Awakening

The story is about a woman who is addicted to work and finds herself again after taking a libido-enhancing drug that opens her to experiences that reshape her understanding of desire and satisfaction. After this encounter, she will never be the same again.

Sex starts in Chapter Six.

Chapter 1:

Evelyn's apartment was suffused with a warm morning light that filtered in through the curtains. She moved about her bedroom, her graceful movements evidence of her poise and confidence. Her roommate, Lisa, was seated on the edge of the bed, a mischievous smile playing on her lips as she observed Evelyn's morning routine.

"So, Evelyn," Lisa began, her tone casual but the twinkle in her eyes giving away her intentions, "did you happen to hear anything interesting last night?"

Evelyn arched an eyebrow, her lips quirking up in response to Lisa's knowing expression. "Oh, you mean those moans and screams begging to be fucked harder coming from your room?"

Lisa chuckled, leaning back on her hands. "Guilty as charged."

Evelyn's laughter joined Lisa's. "Well, I'm glad someone's enjoying their personal time."

Lisa rolled her eyes playfully. "I mean, it's been a while, you know? Work has been crazy, and let's face it, the dating scene has been rather dull."

Evelyn nodded in agreement. "True, it's not like the library is exactly a hub for romance. And honestly, I just haven’t been interested in dating lately."

Lisa's smile ...

... turned mischievous. "Or desire, for that matter."

Evelyn gave her a doubtful look. "Desire?"

Lisa's expression turned secretive, and she leaned in a little closer. "Well, let's just say I found something that might spice things up a bit."

Evelyn's curiosity was piqued. "Spice things up? What are you talking about? I just haven’t found anyone interesting that’s all"

Lisa reached into her bag and pulled out a small bottle. She held it up for Evelyn to see. "It's a supplement. A friend recommended it to me. Says it's like an energy boost for your libido. Look, if you haven’t found anyone interesting in the past 2 years then maybe the problem is inside of you - that’s all I’m saying."

Evelyn's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Are you serious?"

Lisa grinned and nodded. "Absolutely. Shit, it worked for me, right! You know what? I dare you to try it today before you get to the library."

Evelyn burst into laughter, shaking her head. "You're unbelievable, Lisa. I can't believe you're suggesting this."

Lisa shrugged. "Come on, Evelyn. It's all in good fun. And hey, who knows? Maybe it'll be an interesting day at the library."

Evelyn couldn't help but chuckle at Lisa's playful enthusiasm. "Fine, fine. I'll play along. But you owe me if anything goes awry."

Lisa's laughter filled the room. "Deal."
