We shared a laugh and it seemed that she was taking having the tables turned on her all in her stride.

Mary-Beth stopped in the doorway and spun around, eyes wide with shock as she barely managed to keep herself from screaming, "How in the hell do you know about that?!"

With a broad smile I looked her in the eye and simply said, "I'm not like the other coaches."

I could see on her face that she briefly flirted with pursuing it further, but then decided that was the best explanation she'd get for now, and just said, "fair play." before heading to the showers.
