As she was about to walk away, Albert grabbed her arm with surprising strength given his skinny-looking build. "Hey?! Let go of me!" Sarah hissed.

Albert quickly let go of her, and then showed a devious smirk. "Let's make a bet."

"A bet?" Sarah chuckled amusedly, wondering if this inane conversation could get any more ridiculous.

"And what could this 'bet' possibly entail?" the blonde woman inquired.

"Fine, you have a deal. I can finally obtain some peace and quiet with your raspy old voice banished from my ears," Sarah agreed boldly. Albert just smirked knowingly at her misplaced conviction.
