... go straight to the shower to remove most of the evidence. Her husband Ben might want to help her enjoy her new found hobby that evening. And Ben was not aware Freya was travelling outside the bounds of her normal routine. ******* Rewind the clock about 11 months: Dr. Carson and Ben were on the 17th green in the Fourth of July tournament. They were doomed to be losers out before the usual playoff round. Barring a hole-in-one on the 18th by both Doc Carson and Ben they would be observing with the rest of the galley. At least Doc’s golf cart was top of the field even if they weren’t. Ben was caught in Freya's trap before he knew what hit him. They married in their hometown in front of the usual suspects. In a year the first little feet appeared followed a year later by the second set and that was it. The last child was fourteen years ago, and Ben was now rudely confronted by his college friend Dr. Carson. Ben called him “Doc” even though Ben and Dr. Carson were roommates in college; Doc was two years ahead of Ben. Doc had always focused on a career as a physician. Not just any physician, a physician who could break barriers and explore new fields. Dr. Carson invented several new medical devices that interfaced between man and machine. They came to be known as cyber-kinetic-responsive devices. They initiated physical responses from body parts that no longer functioned or in some cases parts that had been injured or impaired in some manner. ...
