... not my Holly. She wouldn't move on so fast, would she? She wanted to see new people, not get into a serious relationship with someone else. The anger began to boil inside me. “I guess they're all in love and shit. According to Luke, it's all this Sean guy talks about. He seems kind of girly to me, talking about all that shit, man. I don't know. I'm sorry if this makes it worse, but I'm only trying to do you a solid.” I only glared at him in response and he took that as his queue to leave. My anger burned like an oil fire and I soon went home and tried to sleep. Nothing I did would bring me peace. I refused to drink a drop of booze, but man was I craving it. There had to be something I could do. I needed to hear that she loved him from her own lips... *** By the time I reached the college, I was thinking of just turning around and riding back. The thing was, I had come too fucking far to puss out. It was now or never and I couldn't deal with the never bit. I had to see her, even if it made her angry. I missed the sight of the girl I'd fallen so madly in love with. The frat house was easily found. It was the only one within blocks of the college throwing a party. The thing was, I had no other way to reach her and if I was ever going figure out what the fuck happened to her, I had to go in and ask. I set my helmet on my bike as I got off and began heading toward that house in what seemed like the longest walk of my life. College students stared at me like I was some kind of invader as I walked up. I clearly didn't belong. My dark jeans, monogrammed leather club jacket and big black boots marked me for the biker I was. A few of the girls giggled and waved at me, but I ignored them, not caring at all for their prissy, coed asses. I had eyes for only one girl that night and they weren't her. I had no interest in a bunch of trashy little whores whose main interest was getting attention from those little boy twits. Well, that shit wasn't going to work on me. Loud, hard driving music engulfed me the moment I entered the house. It was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think, let alone hear anyone talking to you. The smell of spilled beer and the lingering stench of those who'd already had too much to drink filled my senses. People were dancing everywhere, drinking and having a good time. I had never been to a frat party, but it really wasn't much different than most of the bars I'd spent the last ten years in. I had no idea where Holly was going to be, but I knew she'd be around here somewhere. I ...
