... legs. He was completely helpless. Quickly wiping the tears out of my eyes, I was finally able to see what was happening and who had come to my rescue. It was Deanna. She had grabbed Kyle by a vital pressure point in his neck which had put him in a state of total physical paralysis. Yes, the Vulcan neck pinch REALLY does work. Now, I suppose I could give you the rather gory details of the incident, but I won’t. They’re not appropriate. But, if you could have seen the rage in Deanna’s eyes when she caught somebody trying to hurt me; oh boy!! Let’s just say the beating was very, very ugly. And very, very quick. You see, not only is Deanna in tip top physical condition, but she’s also a fifth degree black belt as well as a military veteran with thorough hand to hand combat training. And on this night, she was stone cold sober where Kyle was shitfaced drunk. Ultimately, it took her less than ten seconds to really fuck him up BAD!! No, she didn’t kill him but rest assured, I was thoroughly avenged! Then, just like Han Solo had done after he’d blown Greedo to smithereens in the very first Star Wars film; Deanna calmly, and oh so coolly, shoved Kyle’s semi-conscious ass out of the way with her foot. I hope you’ll give us at least a five minute head start before you call the police.” “Drunks fall in here all the time,” The manager said. “If he wants an ambulance when he comes around, I might call one for him. Otherwise fuck him!” “Thank you,” Deanna replied. Deanna dropped her wallet back into her purse, put her arms around me to support me as I was extremely shaky and wobbly, and walked me out to her Lexus. By the time we reached the passenger side door, I completely fell apart. Deanna gathered me up in her arms and snuggled me warmly against her as I sobbed piteously on her shoulder. She rocked me ever so gently and whispered sweetly in my ear, all the while pelting me with the occasional little kiss on the head and caressing me tenderly as I continued to wail. “It’s okay baby girl; it’s all over,” Deanna whispered. “I’ve got you, you're safe now sweetheart. He’s never gonna hurt you again.” Deanna wove a loving, almost maternal cocoon around me that was so warm, strong, poised and powerful that it didn’t take long for my fear to vanish completely for I knew that I was under her protection and that nothing could hurt me with her there. Nothing!!! Finally I was able to stand confidently on my feet and then look Deanna in the face. And the first thing I saw was her breathtaking smile. She caressed my cheek so softly and then with a feather’s touch, wiped away my tears. Kissing me on the tip of my nose, she then combed her fingers ...
