... two girls decided to climb out of the truck, and all but stood on top of the fire, trying to break the slight chill. While the k**s all sat around, trying to warm up around the fire, Korina and I started getting breakfast ready, which consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, and fried potatoes. After peeling what seemed like five dozen potatoes, but, was probably only a dozen, and cubing them, we put them into foil, with some butter, and a couple of minced cloves of garlic and sealing it. The only one that hadn't fallen asl**p in my lap was Kala, that would happen within the next year or so, when she was having a rough time with a break up with a boyfriend and her friends were all away. Kaitlyn finally started to stir slightly and wake up, noticing how quiet it was around the camp site. The boys had all gone off to play in the near by creek, while Kala, Jessie, and Korina all just sat around the fire, talking, and looking at the two of us, wondering how I managed to get her to be so calm.
