... said, “Vera’s Apothecary.” I pushed the door open and a bell attached to it jingled. A woman to the counter from another room behind. “Hi, I’m Vera, the apothecary. How can I help you sir?” She looked in her early twenties, and was quite beautiful. She had long red hair, brown eyes complemented by thick eyelashes, and soft facial features that gave her a gentle and innocent look.
