The Voyeur Back in the late 1980s I worked overseas in an arab country. I can’t say which one. Anyway. I was there as part of a team that consisted of about a dozen people. For 6 months and we lived in a property owned by our employers and they employed several local men to run the house. This included a cook and a general handy man. They had been employed by the company for over 15 years but one of our team (a woman) who had stayed there before warned the women that the handy man was a little creepy and in the past had tried to walk into bedrooms when women were changing and things like that. The hole had been made by a screw that should have fixed the cabinet to the wall, but the screw was missing. I looked through the hole and it gave me a view of a neighbouring room. I checked out the room and it was a bedroom that was now being used for storing items in (to be honest it was a mess). However against the wall between the room and the bathroom a space had been cleared and on the wall there a small hole had been made to extend the screw hole from the bathroom. Even though the hole was fairly small when I looked through it I got a good of the bath. It was now that it dawned on me that someone could watch anyone taking a bath, or like me and my partner, watch us fucking. The first thought was one of disgust and the need to tell the project managers. However, it then dawned on me that it might be fun if I knew someone was watching when I was fucking. I went back into the bathroom and shut the cabinet door. Later that day my friend and I disappeared to the bathroom for some fun. I noticed that the cabinet door was open and tried my best to see if there was any movement next door, but it was hard to see anything and to look without being noticed by my friend or anybody on the other side who could be watching.
