... out there," Tori said, running out of things to say, but the guilt of all this weighing her down. "It's not wrong for us to be scared." "I'm scared too, Tori, but that doesn't change anything. We're not k*ds who can just run and hide underneath the covers. It's time to grow the fuck up." "Noey… language," Cat said, giving her sad eyes. "Cat, I can't live with myself, and I know you well enough to know that you couldn't either." Noelle stared daggers into Cat's heart, and the red-head looked like she was about to cry for a moment before raising her hand up, and Noelle grabbing it to help her out. "Fucking seriously?!" Beck said, exasperated before turning to his other passenger. "This is a mistake." "Noelle's right," Tori said, with a heavy sigh. "We can't just leave." As she helped the aspiring singer out, Noelle was surprised at how much of a tantrum Beck was beginning to throw. "Fine, but I'm keeping these keys," he said jumping out of the boat and rejecting Noelle's offered hand. "Whoa!" came a voice from above the marina, belonging to Andre who was now rushing down the steps with Nate right behind him. "What happened to him?" "I don't know," Beck said, feeling like Andre was accusing him of doing this to Robbie. "We just saw him and I took off to try and catch him, but when I got to him, he had already been hit." "By a crossbow, looks like," Nate said, surveying the damage. "No organs really in the way of those shots but we need to get him back to the inn. Maybe there's still some supplies left and Freddie patched up the sheriff." The three girls arrived on the scene as quick as they could, keeping their distance in case a fight broke out. Nate was going to say something, giving a knowing look to Tori, but she raised her finger to him. "Don't lecture me… we were scared and we reacted. We didn't go anywhere so don't even try that with me, Nathan." "Yes ma’am…" he said calmly, ...
