I had to agree and I'd fitted my run in as well, so it was all good.

One shop caught Dad's eye. A small menswear place, selling colourful short sleeved shirts and chino shorts.

"How about we buy some smart shorts. They'll be cooler for eating out later."

Inside, two salesmen were standing chatting, but the older of the two immediately came forward.

"Buenos Dias, my name is Eduardo, how can I help."

They both agreed that I looked very smart. Then it was Dad's turn.
