It was a rather good effort, but one day clearly hadn't been enough to get his new voice ingrained enough to use even during his outburst. Ms. Thompson was certain that would come eventually though.

It was hard, especially when the hits started hurting more and more, but at the same time that made it so much more important not to slip.
