... through the rapidly darkening sky. A big neon sign, mounted proudly above the entrance, proclaimed the venue's name as 'The Starlight Lounge'. So it was a club, then.
"Alright" Hayley began, "Rule 2: 'What happens in the Starlight Lounge stays in the Starlight Lounge.'"
"These rules are getting corny, fast." Giggled Elena.
"Just how I roll, babe! Let's party!"
"Give me a call when you're ready to come home." Marco said to the two women as they got out of the car. "Doesn't matter what time it is. Have fun, girls."
Inside the club, Elena could only just barely hear herself think- the music was so loud that she could feel her teeth shaking. The club was packed, undulating with bodies everywhere except for one small section of chairs raised above the rest, a VIP section probably. Well, there, and the long, capital T shaped stage that dominated part of the floor.
"You brought me to a strip club?" Elena yelled to her friend.
"Fuck yeah I did! We're doing this bachelorette shit right. Can't have a sendoff without strippers!" While Elena wasn't entirely sold, further discussion was cut off when the pair spotted Naomi.

"Happy bachelorette Elena!" She yelled over the music as the bachelorette in question approached her. "The other girls are already inside. They were talking about reserving the VIP for us."
"Girls?" Questioned Elena. "I thought it was just you, me, Hayley, and Alaina?"
"Alaina brought along a friend. Actually, she said she knows you, Hayley."
"Really now?" She said, her eyes taking on a thoughtful look for a moment. "Wonder who it could be?"
"Not sure, I didn't catch her name. Seemed... nice enough, though."
"Well let's go find out!" Yelled Elena, knowing that if she didn't go inside soon, she'd chicken out. The other girls readily agreed, and the three made their way further inside.
They caught up with Alaina at the bar. Elena had met Alaina as a result of a mix-up. Both of them had interviewed for a job at the same time, and evidently, when the boss had told her assistant to 'hire Elena', the assistant, a new hire himself, couldn't tell which of the two she meant, given that their names were pronounced the same way, and sent out the paperwork to both of them. After some confusion on the first day of work, they were eventually both hired on a provisional basis- and had worked in close partnership ever since. Alaina's friendship with Elena might not reach back as far as ...
