“Liar! I saw your face. Fucking hell! I never heard you howl like that before. I came just watching you."

His eyes were burning me at the stake. Not for lying, but because the savage they created was deserving of such fate.

My lips curled into a cautious smile; I've been banned from regulars for far less. “And you're still letting me see him again?”
