"I'd like to hear from Amy herself, if you don't mind," Thomas said. "We also value independence and autonomy, so we would certainly like to ensure that anyone who joins does it of their own free will. "I do," Maggie said solemnly, then started laughing. "It's like a wedding!"

"Okay, fill out this form," Tom said, giving her a disapproving glare. "Now, Amy. Do you affirm that you are here of your own free will, free of coercion, to join the True Selves and discover your true self?"

Amy hesitated, looking at Maggie, who tossed her an evil eye. Technically, Amy was here because of coercion, but if she said so, she'd probably not be allowed to join, which meant that she'd fail the dare.
