"But you go up and have lesbian sex. I thought I was the lesbian here," Grace said. She was trying to joke, but Amy could feel the tension in her voice.

"Grace, you just went through your initiation. Think about how you felt in that room. How freeing was it?"

They chatted a bit more throughout the rest of the meeting, and Grace seemed to get a little more relaxed over time as she saw that not every display was as intense and graphic. Amy did what she could to ease her concerns, and after another half hour or so, the meeting was over.

"I'm a bit nervous to go back out there, where everyone will be able to see me naked," Grace said. "When I came in here, they were all facing the other way. Well, except for you."

They chatted for a few minutes in the foyer with all the other True Selves members, and Amy introduced Grace and Stephanie. Stephanie gave Grace a big hug, which seemed to relax Grace a bit. Ultimately, though, Grace seemed eager to just leave.

"You want to go home?" Amy asked her.

"Yeah," Grace said. "No offense. I'm not like...completely against coming again. I just need time."

"Of course," Amy said. "Do you think you could go naked, or else I could ask Thomas if they have any more robes?"

"I...it's dark out," Grace said. "I can do it. But can you drive? I'm so distracted, I don't think I could focus on it."

So they went home, two naked sisters riding in a car together, mostly in silence. Amy let her sister think, and didn't pressure her. They had almost made it all the way home when Grace finally spoke again.
