"This is the Ejaculation Control Trainer or ECT for short," Carmen explained, indicating the device. "By now, you've probably figured some of this out. You insert your "banana" into one of the jelly sleeves and strap the ECT device around it. The ECT device is then mounted to a bracket. When the device is turned on, it will move the cradle up and down along the tracks on the side, stroking your "banana" in the process." She demonstrated by turning on the device and holding the banana upright. As the machine whirred to life, it began moving the jelly sleeve up and down the banana.

"The device can be controlled by a smartphone app which can alter the speed, length and position of the strokes and even the rotation of the sleeve as it travels." As she explained this, the machine picked up speed, stroking the banana faster than before, rotating back and forth around the banana as it traveled. It then slowed down and started stroking only the tip of the banana, then traveled to the base for a few more strokes. At this point, one of the other guys--I think his name was Brad--asked incredulously, "You want to pay us $100 each to let your device jerk us off? That's the easiest money I've ever made!"

"Yes and no," Marla answered. "First, there will be opportunities throughout the tests to earn more than the $100 base compensation. We'll explain those opportunities as we get to them. Also, remember that the goal of participating in this study is to NOT let the device jerk you off. "Still sounds like an easy $100 to me," Brad quipped.

"We'll see," Marla smirked back at him. "Are there any other questions?" she asked the group of us.

I don't know about the other guys in the room, but my head was trying to wrap itself around the idea that we were all going to let these machines try to get us off while we were trying not to let that happen. The resulting stunned silence allowed Marla to continue.
