"How about you, Brendan?" Marla asked. "What worked best for you?"

Brendan shrugged. "I don't know if anything really worked. I was just trying to ignore what the ECT was doing and focus on something more normal instead. "I didn't really have to think about it at all," Cody answered. "I just remembered that I was in control of my reactions and I wasn't going to react until after everyone else did. The rest was ...
