I couldn't keep from giggling and Nick just grinned and winked at me.

As we finished breakfast I looked around and couldn't keep from smiling, I felt welcomed here and really like Nick's parents. I could picture Nick and I married and having children, and Jessica and James spoiling them rotten.

Nick nudged my arm and chuckled, "Babe, Mom was talking to you," he said with a big grin. I looked up and blushed bright red.

"Sorry...I was just daydreaming," I murmured.

Jessica giggled, "It must have been about something nice by the way you were smiling," winking at me. "Anyway, I was just saying James and I are meeting later with some friends and wanted you to know we really enjoyed having you here."

"It's really been fun," I replied with a smile, "thank you for having me, and I think I should give you this beautiful gown and robe back. It's just too nice for me to accept it."

James chuckled, "Okay...okay Peaches. I can't help it every time I see something that makes me think of you I have to buy it," as he reached over and kissed her on the cheek.

"James, we have company, behave yourself," she admonished him, even though she was smiling back at him. Looking back at Ava, "See what I mean, men, they don't listen. I've got more gowns, robes and slippers than some department stores."

I giggled despite trying hard not to. "Sorry.....it's just that you both make the perfect couple. So thanks to both of you I'll keep the things you gave me."

Nick grinned, and wrapped his arm around my shoulder, "I think Ava and I will hang around here for a while, then check on Lee and Sandy later. We might even watch a movie in the den, or play some games. I want to give Lee and Sandy more time before we bug them," he chuckled.

"I'll help you clean up the kitchen," I smiled and squeezed Nick's hand. I felt really at home here.

James stood up and said, "Nick I need to speak to you in my office while these ladies clean up here. Ava, it's really a pleasure to have you here and I look forward to you becoming part of our family."
