An abortion was scheduled and on that morning Reggie had another attack of schizophrenia. He didn't recognize Molly, and thought she was trying to kill his 'baby', Penny, who was 16 at the time. If she were there, she could hug and comfort him, and he would be alright. Penny still loved him dearly, even with his mental illness, and everything that happened because of it.
