Startled, there was little mom could do. Her arms went to push Yvonne away, but Yvonne laughed, holding fast to mom.

Mom looked up, and it was that moment Yvonne leaned forward and kissed mom fully on the lips.

Surprised, mom gasped, tried to push Yvonne away, but Yvonne held fast.

They shared a long kiss.

When they parted, a string of drool still connected them together, and this finally broke, severing their connection.

Mom stared at Yvonne as if seeing her for the first time.

It was Yvonne that broke the spell she had cast upon us.

"Anything more will cost you." Yvonne laughed, easily escaping mom's grasp, slipping away.

I entered a new room, and drew a key card.

Seeing my frown, Mom asked. "What does it say?"
