... inspect Galina's handiwork in regard to Bridesmaids, mother in law dresses, flowers, and wedding dress. Of course, I wasn't allowed to see the wedding dress. But I was informed after waiting outside Galina's room for about twenty minutes of girly giggling that mum's old wedding dress that Yana had altered, was either 'beautiful' or 'decidedly awful' I assumed the last opinion offered by Brandi was a tease. I didn't have to see the bridesmaids or other dresses as I had already seen them. But Galina had finished the bouquets of satin roses made out of the remnants of the dresses. Four bouquets. One large, three small. The smaller ones for the bridesmaids with the corresponding colours of their dresses. Consisting of about ten flowers each. Whereas Yana's bridal bouquet had around thirty flowers made up of white, apricot, baby blue, lolly pink and purple flowers. Corresponding to her wedding dress, Bridesmaids dresses, and mum's mother of the groom dress colours.
We had a quick chat about finalising wedding details. Yana, mum and myself and Brandi. As Brandi so eloquently put it.
"It would be advantageous to discuss this in the presence of a registered psychotherapist, in case it has a detrimental effect." To quote Brandi.

We sorted out the entertainment for the reception, which was a Russian cultural group, Catering, music etc. Yana not wanted her wedding to be traditional in the terms of a wedding but also traditional in the terms of being Russian. A lot traditional Russian folk dancing and music etc. On the subject of transport, I wanted a MK2 Jaguar. Yana had wanted dad's VW van 'Helga' we accepted that a MK2 jag wouldn't take the whole bridal party of eight. So, we compromised. I would book the Jag for Yana and myself. Helga would transport the Bridal party and be used for photos. So, Yana, dad and myself would all be happy. Yana was adamant on having the traditional Russian wedding custom of wearing crowns so why not? We also discussed that my cousin who had married a Korean. Had a break halfway through the reception before a Korean cultural element. And him and his wife withdrew and changed into Hanbok or Korean traditional dress. This caused much excitement in Yana. As like him we were a mixed culture couple although not so obvious. But her excitement peaked when I asked Yana if Svetlana's shop sold or hired Kosovorotka or men's traditional clothing and she could maybe wear a different type of Sarafan. Yana jumped at the chance and said ...
