... manager and each of the artists had an equal say in the operation of the studio.
There was a significant waiting list for new artists who wanted to join The Potter's Studio, as the organization was aptly called. At least thirty artists from all over Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas and Missouri were eager to join, even if it meant relocating. The organization had developed a massive social media following and its presence in these coveted online marketplaces meant artists at the Potter's Studio could sell their work at excellent prices and make just the work they wanted to create. It provided the space and freedom to live out their life's ambition and make more than a decent living.
The studio also ran classes for hobbyists, home potters and even total beginners. These were taught in a large space dedicated to the public that included a permanent gallery and two exhibition halls for art shows and other public events. The point of the classes was really to encourage students to explore the medium and it did not hurt when each student posted a picture of their prized new ceramic mug, #thepottersstudiook!

He would then slowly and meticulously press, stretch, and alter the shape, using water and soft repetitive pressure, to pull some portions, curve others, at times he would cut an entire section, for example to create a steady base on which the piece would sit. The end result were pieces that looked like silk pulled up into the air by a soft breeze. Yet the piece was a functional pitcher.
"You are so fucking talented, Kyle, look at you! Fuck! That is just stunning!" Jeremy was wide-eyed and impressed by the piece Kyle was smoothing out, the shape having been finished.
"Says you," Kyle replied, smiling. Since their conversation, Kyle had been much more open about his admiration for Jeremy who, at the moment, was shirtless and looked practically edible, his chest and arms were pumped and thick from his effort to center 15 ...
