Alright, it’s almost 4 and dad just called saying he was on his way home.

Oh, I’m getting ahead of myself again.

Well, dad came home and saw me all dressed up and ready to go so he quickly changed his shirt and we were off.

We were able to get to the restaurant before 5:00 and with it being a Friday, if we went any later the wait for a table could have been up to 2 hours or more!

We only had to wait like ten minutes, if that.

My dad couldn’t stop commenting on how good I looked.

From the looks of others in the restaurant and more than a few of the waiters, I was at first feeling a little self-conscious until my dad convinced me that people were staring because I looked so hot.

He also said that I could probably pass for 21, and when I jokingly asked if that meant I could have some alcohol with dinner, he laughed and said not a chance.

When the waiter asked if I’d like to have a look at the wine list, I glanced over to my dad again and he gave me a toothy grin and shook his head, so I smiled at the waiter and ordered iced tea with extra lemon.

It felt like a date between boyfriend and girlfriend instead of father and daughter.

My dad looks really good for 41.

He isn’t graying yet and his hairline is perfect.

He stays so fit that he could easily pass for a man in his early 30’s.

And with my sexy black dress and smart hair and makeup choices, I could pass for a girl in her early 20’s, so I’d imagine that most onlookers just thought of us as a normal couple, maybe 8-10 years apart or ...
