I was of course elated, thinking, “Yea, I wanted to go,” but not wanting to appear overly anxious I simple said, “Sure.”

Hearing this, she smiled, and as we finished our drinks, she told me, the airlines provided her with a hotel room in the airport Marriott, which was just off the main terminal. I couldn’t believe we were actually going to her hotel room, but after we paid the bill, we grabbed our bags and headed off that way. It was what I had wanted, but I was nervous too, and as I continued to talk with her as we walked, I felt she was excited too.

Going into the lobby, Dani took my hand and as she motioned toward this little sitting area, she told me she told she’d be back after she checked in. Smiling, I figured it was because the room was just for her and she didn’t want to let on I was going to be staying there too.
