... Sasha."
"I know, but I wanted to. I saw that look in your eye."
"But I didn't get you anything."
"I didn't want anything. All I want is for our evening to go well. I want Esme, to fall in love with you just like I did."
"A threesome." She gasped, her hand quickly covering her mouth in pretend horror.
"No bitch, no threesomes. You're mine and I'm not sharing."
She giggled playfully. "Good, I'm not good at sharing either."
I was ordered to manage the house work, and Daisy took over the kitchen. I vacuumed, and polished. Set the table, lit candles, then vacuumed again.
Then we fought over real estate in the bathroom as we both tried to get dressed together. It was full of fun and giggles. Sexy kisses, nudges, and hip flicks. The mirror not really big enough for two.
With the doorbell ringing, Daisy panicked. "Do I look all right?"
"Shut up, you look sensational and you know it."
She kissed me lightly. Trying not to smudge our lip gloss.
"Hi Esme, Howard. How are you both?" I said as I opened the door and waved them inside.
Esme, stood close, we shared a gentle kiss. Howard came in for his hug, although he looked decidedly uncomfortable.
"Guys, this is Daisy, my partner." Daisy steeped forward, and I noticed Esme's eyes running up and down Daisy. Appraising and scrutinizing her.
"Hello Daisy." Esme said opening her arms for a hug. Howard restricted it to a handshake.
"Come into the living area." I said waving them through.
Daisy ...
... took their coats, and I asked. "Champagne?"
"Yes please." Esme called out. Howard as well agreed.
Daisy quickly prepared the little tray of Hors d'Oeuvres. She walked back out with me. She placed the tray in front of Howard and Esme. "Help your selves." She mumbled nervously.
Esme, glanced at me before looking up and smiled. "Thank you dear."
I noticed Howard, nibbling on the Hors d'Oeuvres. Then he went back, and then again. "These are delicious." he said appreciatively.
Esme as well, seemed to be enjoying the little tidbits. "Daisy." Esme said, bringing the conversation back to her. "Sasha tells me that you met online. Is that right?"
"Yeah, pretty much?"
"How does that work, online dating?"
"Easy really. Set up a profile, then search through until you find somebody you like."
"Is that what happened with Sasha?"
Daisy glanced at me, before saying. "Yeah, pretty much. I liked her profile so I send her a message."
Daisy was clearly feeling the weight of Esme's inquisition. She stood quickly, saying. "Anybody else need a top up?"
"Yes please." I replied. It might have slowed Esme, down, but. It didn't stop her. She kept digging until she got to the farm. That's when she really dug down.
"You would have lost the farm if it wasn't for Sasha?"
"Yeah, sure would. She saved me, saved the farm."
Turning to face me, Esme asked. "Tell me more about this plan of yours dear. How did you see it working out?"
I expected her to ask, and I had ...
