... in that tub."
"We could order in food." I suggested.
"Yes..."
It was then I noticed the eyes staring at us, as we swayed in each others arms. I guess same sex couples still have some barriers to knock down. Daisy seemed at ease with it, but as we waited for a cab. I whispered. "Did you see those people staring at us?"
"No, sorry, All I could see was this sexy little witch trying to seduce me."
"Really, people were staring."
She sighed deeply. "I know, and you better get used to it. There's still a lot of prejudice towards same sex couples."
"I never noticed before."
"That's because you have an open mind. Not everybody shares that same openness."
"I guess." I mumbled sadly. "It doesn't worry you?"
"I'm used to it. I've been gay my whole life. This is new for you."
Back at the apartment we ordered in some food, and slipped back into each others arms. The feel of her body, felt so right, so perfect. Her skin felt so soft as I ran my fingers down her cheek. Our noses rubbing as we exchanged gentle little kisses. Her hands came up to cup my face. That's all there was, everything else had melted away.
There was just that moment, an instantaneous exchange of telepathic, emotions. We didn't have to speak, it was like she heard my thoughts. I felt her pulse quicken, and our mouths slid wetly together. The sensations of her lips caressing mine will never fade.
When we kissed, it was perfect. Her velvety soft lips. Luscious, sensuous, inviting but ...
... so damn arousing. Inside, I was squishy and sticky. Yearning for more, but not wanting the kiss to end. Our spell was finally broken by the doorbell. Our food was here.
I found a tray for the food, and started filling the bath. I pulled the ice bucket with the chilled champagne from the fridge and carried it to the bathroom.
"What are you doing?" Daisy asked.
"We can eat in the tub. Talk, catch up, relax and just be."
"Sounds very decadent."
"Yes."
The feel of the hot water encasing our bodies as we reclined in the big tub. The chilled champagne, the hot food picked at from the platter beside the tub. It was an interval in time. Where the rest of the world mattered not one single iota.
Daisy brought me up to date with the chicken coop and gigglingly expanded on some things. She also added.
"Thank you for not fighting with me about, Jeremy. I know it's not what you wanted. I could see that. He's a new person, Sasha. He walks around with his head in the air. He's got purpose, and the way he's just thrown himself into it. I only wanted to say that so you'd know how much you've affected my life. You've given me back my brother. The way I remember him."
"It wasn't that I didn't want him there. I was nervous is all. I wondered whether he would accept me."
She giggled and her eyes fixed on mine. "He made some stupid remarks, but I put him in his place."
"I was afraid that he would try to take over. See us as just women and want to be in charge. It's ...
