... somersaults. All I could think about was Daisy. Her eyes, her face. It was weirdly exactly as I imagined. Having her bank details, I planned to deposit in cash the money with some extra to cover her arrears. Another little snicker as I contemplated setting up a dating profile. Something I'd never done before, but it did make me giggle. What would I say? How do you describe yourself. Ordinary single woman who is suddenly bi-curious. What the hell would my friends say? I knew one thing, I wasn't posting that on one of the more commonly used aps. Thankfully there were dating sites for gay people, and in particular, women, or those identifying as such. I chose what looked the most popular, and placed my profile. No picture, just some carefully chosen words to describe myself. Color me completely blown away. Within a day of posting my profile, the hits kept popping up, which astonished me. Some of the women were very attractive, and also very interesting and intriguing. We slipped into an easy conversation about our respective jobs. Holidays, where we lived. We talked a little about school, and growing up. Katie, obviously a lot more experienced than I asked. "What made you post your profile?" "Wow, straight into it." I mumbled. "Honestly, my marriage disintegrated. When I looked at myself. I realized, that a lot of my prior relationships with men were fraught with difficulties. When I considered the options, I wondered." "Have you had relationships with women before?" "No, never. I experimented a little at college. Mostly when drunk, but no, never a relationship." "What are your expectations?" I shrugged casually. "I have none. I'm hoping to meet somebody who fulfills me, who excites me." "That sounds like a perfect start." "What about you Katie, what are you looking for?" "A relationship. I'm sick of being alone. My life is full, and busy. I'm not lonely, I simply want to ...
