Another deep breath had her almost feeling normal. With a turn she looked at the heavily defended Ceti-5 planet. She shook her head she had to be missing something. Hmmm she thougt, perhaps this time diplomacy might work better.

"Open a channel to Ceti-5 communication center," Wren ordered.

A moment later the screen flickered, Esmerelda gasp as the vision of a tall, dark-haired female appeared.

"So," Lota said as she seemed to look through Esmerelda. "You are the cause of all the trouble I have been reading and hearing about. I should've have known that you were somehow involved Pannie."

"YOU!" Esmerelda screamed then passed out on the deck of the bridge.

Lota looked over the Empress the smirked, "always as weak, as you have always been, Pannie."

The first and second masters looked at Lota with confusion. "Just who is this, Pannie? Why can neither of us remember her?" The first master asked.

"It was a project we started right before the sickness hit," Rena said. "We had thought that she had expired, I can see that we were wrong."

"We had hoped that we could control the transmutation better than we did. As you see, we were wrong, we four plus another four were involved with it. Once they are out, we will explain, we each only have a piece of the plan," Rena said.

"Are we in danger from her?" The first master said.

"At present? With only the four of us, possibly. Though with Wren we have more than a fighting chance," Rena said a slight look of worry on her face.
