We see her less after she moved to the Amsterdam region. She works at Schiphol International Airport as a flight attendant doing long-distance flights to South-East Asia. When we get together, Marta and I still have a lot of laughter. That has never changed. Luckily, Bree can handle it. The kids love 'auntie Marta.' Marta has been dating David for over a year now. Bree and I think he might be the one for Marta. David is a real down-to-earth guy and not taking shit from anyone. I can totally see him bossing Marta around in bed, using her like the slut she craves to be. The first time Marta introduced David to us, we told him honestly our history, including the drunk mistake. He just shrugged his shoulder, "We all make mistakes, and we have to learn from them." When he went to the toilet, I asked Marta, "Marta, does he make you happy?" "Yes, he makes me very happy and might be the one." Bree answered, "That's great, Marta. We're glad you found him. But don't toss him away!" Marta smiled at us weakly, "No worries, I made that mistake once. Won't happen again." Sometimes, I wonder how life would have been without Marta's mistake. Would Bree and I have ended up together? I doubt it. I glance at Bree and the boys and feel like I am the happiest guy in the world, married to my goddess and loving my kids to death.
