... Jay spoke to the camera this time, Deke sitting alongside him sipping on a can of soda.

"I feel ya, we both from Atlanta, born an' bred. Never left the US until this year, and we seen so much here in Europe, ya'll know that from our videos these last months. Doesn't matter where we been, Italy, Greece, Romania, Serbia, France... we always been lucky, always been able to enjoy some cool cultural exchanges, sample some beauty," Deke commented, speaking as much to Jay as to the camera.

Behind them, her face visible to the camera even though she was squatting behind the front seats, Elli smiled but kept quiet. She liked the fact that Jay and Deke were appreciating their trip away, there was a tinge of jealousy within her that she hadn't experienced all that they had. Still through them, maybe she could make contacts with YouTubers in the US, maybe she'd do something similar in the future, travel to America as they had to Europe, generate fresh content from her travels. Again, the financial side, the ability for her account to start generating decent advertisement revenue would dictate a lot of her plans.

"So, what fresh torment have you got in mind for El?" Deke asked Jay, his brilliant white smile startling against the darkness of his skin. Elli looked over at Jay, she had taken a minute to eat some of her mother's food, her hunger driving her to decent sustenance, not just a few bites of chocolate. However the thought of Jay dreaming up some physically demanding ...

... challenge had her worried, she wasn't keen on the idea after stuffing her belly.

"Well, you know I getting' good with the editing on our videos," Jay said.

"I know, you got some skills now," Deke agreed.

"So, I was thinkin' that we could use the van, use the location and use the weather to give a new slant on the wipe it down challenge," Jay said. Elli leaned forward, intrigued now. The wipe it down challenge had been popular on TikTok, essentially the person making the video starts off by pretending they are about to clean something, typically a mirror. Set to music, the person then starts to clean the object with the wipes coinciding with every "wipe" mentioned in the song. The kick being, on the third "wipe" the video changes to show a different version of the same person, maybe a costume change or a hair style change. So, what was Jay thinking?

"We use the wipers on the van, clear away the snow that is still comin' down, dat's our 'wipe'. I film from inside the van, through the windshield, ya follow?" Deke and Elli nodded their understanding.

"Yeah, then Elli, you outside, dancin' or jumpin' or somethin', anyways one version is you in all your winter stuff, hat, coat and shit. Other version, no coat, you in your bra, maybe keep hat, scarf and gloves on. Cool, yeah?"

'Cool?' Elli thought, 'not cool, very much not cool!' But she was trapped, she'd set the terms herself, never imagining a half-naked challenge in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere ...
