... yours I snack on, definitely gonna be sure to taste it when it's warm," Jay said, using a finger to catch a dripping segment of sweet apple that was falling out. "Warm and moist, like God intended." "For sure, we'll definitely make that happen," Elli said smiling, soaking in their approval like a flower feeding off the sun's rays. "My turn for a challenge, unless it's too late, you guys want to sleep for a while, recharge?" "No, we good for a while yet," Deke said. "So, what you got in mind for revenge? Lip sync? Press ups?" Elli shook her head, tossing the men their coats instead. "No, I was thinking snowball fight, Deke versus Jay." "Are you tripping?" Jay burst out. "Snowball fight? At two in the morning? In that cold? Nah, nah, dat aint happin', nuh-uh, no way!" Elli could see the sulk returning to Jay even as he spoke. She couldn't afford for him to switch off or pout, not when things were going so well. Some of the people that Deke and Jay had met while travelling in Europe had doubled their subscriber numbers. "Okay guys, so it's like an old-fashioned duel. Back-to-back, walk ten paces, turn and throw. Best of three to decide the winner" Elli called out. She was stood beside the campervan; she'd turned the headlights back on so that Deke and Jay could see one another and so that Elli could film what was happening. The two men had put all their bright winter clothing back on. The two men had even bought ski masks, only their eyes and mouths visible through them, again colour coordinated with their outfits. To Elli, it looked like a giant yellow Angry Bird was about to engage in a snowball fight with an equally big red Angry Bird, the two men flapping their arms to stay warm reinforcing the image in her mind. "Call it," Jay shouted out. "Three, two, one," Elli shouted in response. On 'one' the two men took trudging steps through the thick blanket of snow before reaching ten paces. "Turn and fire!" Elli shouted out the instruction and both Deke and Jay whirled about, taking a moment to steady themselves before launching their premade snowballs. Jay's took Deke in the chest a heartbeat before Deke's snowball exploded against Jay's hip. "One for Jay," Elli confirmed. The second round went to Deke, despite nearly falling over in the snow as he flung his projectile at Jay. The third round was a draw, ...
