... guess she didn't want to create an electronic record of what she had in mind on a computer owned by her company. Smart girl. She pulled out a pad of hotel stationery she had stuffed in her bag and began to write. After an hour (and several shredded attempts) later, she handed me the result:

*I haven't committed to doing it. This is our agreementif I agree to do it.

*We do a glamour shot, not a regular shoot for distribution, no matter what AJ offers. Mark hires a computer guru to check the computers to make sure every copy has been removed and nothing sent off site.

*Mark fully consents to this. That means he will not think of me as a slut, or a whore, a cunt, or any other nasty titles men use when their wives engage in the debauchery they ask for. Nor will he think any less of me for doing what he wants me to do.

*I may need a drink, a smoke, or even something harder to relax. If I do, you won't complain or try to stop me.

*If I do something with them, it doesn't necessarily mean that I'll ever do it with you. I'm not married to them, but I am married to you.

*No whining about spending money instead of making it.

*If we commit and pay the fee, no last-minute backing down, by either of us.

*You will not be in the room with us when we do it. If AJ can set you up to watch during filming like yesterday, fine, but no hovering: I'm too self-conscious.

*If AJ can finish editing it before we leave, grab it then. If not, we fly back to Vegas to take ...

... possession of it physically.

*Absolute confidentiality. We tell no one else what we've done, ever. Not me to Megan, not you to anyone at the office or anywhere else, no one!

*We keep only one copy of the photoshoot and the glamour shot at home, in our safe. No copies ever.

*We only open the photoshoot, or watch the video together, never separately.

*Between the two of us, I own both. If I decide I want to destroy them, we'll destroy them, and you won't complain or try to keep a copy. In the very unlikely event of divorce, we destroy them, together, the moment the divorce petition is filed.

*If one of us dies, the other immediately destroys both the test shots and glamour shots.

She handed me the term sheet with an attitude that said, "this is the no dicker sticker." I read it over carefully, nodding mostly, but also offended that Mary would even mention divorce. I added:

*Mary will not obtain identifying telephone numbers, emails or any similar contact information of any of the actors she appears with.

*Mary will not attempt to locate or contact the actors she did the photo shoot with, or the glamour shot, either directly or through an intermediary like AJ, without Mark's written consent.

Mary read them and nodded "yes." We both signed it, then she tucked it away in her bag.

We spent the rest of the day playing. We drove out west of town and paid an absurd amount to rent high end sports cars and drive them a few laps around a road racing track, hopped ...
