Before the alien who was once known as the 12th Doctor brought Humans from Earth to Galifrey 2 Galifrey 2 was a small Earth like planet that had no life. No birds, no Mammals, no fish, no reptiles, no insects, this is because Galifrey 2 was originally a Moon that was terraformed by an unknown alien race.

The terraforming process took 1,000 years and when it was done these aliens boarded their ship and set a course for their new home. At some point during their voyage their ship was invaded by the Weeping Angel's and the alien crew was killed. These were the same Weeping Angel's that the god of time defeated by tricking them into looking at each other using his cloacking and transportation devices.

Yes the technology 12 uses makes him invincible and his infinite regenerations makes him virtually Immortal but he's still just 1 being. He can't defend Galifrey 2 from invaders and raise the Human children aboard his ship at the same time so he created several robots ( with female voices ). These robots raise the Human children, name them, teach them how to speak English, check their DNA and let them know who they're related to ( to avoid incest and inbreeding).

12 is happy, knowing that the Human race living on Galifrey 2 will exist forever and proving that a species that is not divided by politics, economics and religions is truely free. A species that is not divided by languages, cultures and traditions is truely happy,.

... going to spend it alone, Human life is so short and watching the people you love grow old and die is painful. Fortunately for 12 he has met Immortals during his many adventures and he invited one of these Immortals to live on Galifrey 2.

Captain Jack Harkness is a Human from Earths future, he was killed by a Dalek but brought back to life by the entity known as Bad Wolf. This ressurection made Jack a fixed point in time, no matter how many times he dies he'll always come back to life, it was his Immortality that allowed him to kill Abadon ( the Son of Satan ).

Captain Jack is multisexual ( Human males and females and alien males and females ) so unlike 12 who sees the Humans of Galifrey 2 as his children Jack has no problem joining the Humans of Galifrey 2 during their orgies and gang bangs. Equipped with the same technology 12 uses Captain Jack helps 12 defend Galifrey 2 from invaders but when he's not doing that he spends his time with the Humans of Galifrey 2.
