You are going to at least stay for breakfast, right?" I said to her.

"I had great parents as role models growing up." Casie gave me a big smile. "Thanks for trusting me and sharing... you have been an incredible dad, and you are an amazing person no matter what you are wearing. And I will stay for breakfast if I can have it with Andrea?"

"Deal." I stepped forward and hugged her.

When our hug ended, we headed up stairs and got ready for bed. It was probably the wine that let me fall asleep so quickly because otherwise my mind would have been racing after what had happened today.
