... was very witty and bright, but still timid and unsure of herself. I was quite pleased when I noticed the way she seemed innocent and naive, while being very knowledgeable at the same time.

I have some quirks which match hers well. I love controlling our relationship. Other than playful spankings, I'm not into pain or bondage, but when my partner does what I tell them, it excites a special something in me. I like kids a lot, holding them or watching them as they play, and knowing a woman has a child in her makes her much more attractive to me.

I gave Therese a few suggestions and she was happy to follow my advice. I had her do her hair in pigtails and wear lighter colored clothing, to make her cute face and dark hair stand out. Being a chemist, somehow she made herself some lipstick. I complimented her inventiveness but told her a lighter shade would look better on her. She spent half a day making another batch and I liked it a lot. I told her what to wear each morning and enjoyed watching her dress. No rules were broken, since I would always sit in a chair across the room.

One day she was figuring out something on her screen and asked, "Demitri, can you give me a hand with this?"

I answered, "I'd be delighted, so long as you use the rest of me, too."

I knew I had her when she squirmed in her chair and blushed, shyly saying; "When it's time."

As second officer, I had to follow the fraternization rules, and make sure everyone else did as well. Therese ...

... started sitting my lap, and I would wrap my arms around her as she sat on me. Both of us were always fully dressed. Other than our hands and faces none of my skin touched hers, let alone anything improper, but it made both of us quite happy.

One of my duties was to inspect areas of the ship at random, to ensure rules were followed and everything was in order. I was doing another tedious inspection of Hydroponics, when I noticed something. "Miss Jones, sunflowers are not on the menu list, but you seem to be growing ten of them. Please explain?"

"Uhm ... sir ... uh, there are seeds for five thousand in storage, and I really miss eating sunflower seeds. I was just about to harvest them. They'll each yield about a thousand seeds. I can put some back in storage, and it won't make a difference. Right?"

I kept my face neutral and made my voice a little sterner. "This is still a rules violation, miss Jones. Give me one as evidence."

She cut a flower from its stalk and handed it to me, as she fearfully said, "Please don't tell the Commander?"

I realized I might be enjoying the situation a little too much. I kindly but firmly replied, "I'll see if I can get them added to the menu rotation. Don't break the rules again."

Soon after, I met Therese in the mess hall. "I have something big and pretty, for my pretty little one." I pulled the sunflower from behind my back and handed it to her.

"Awh! That's so sweet! Where did you ever get it?"
