... heart skipped a beat at his apology, a glimmer of hope blossoming within her. "Takk skal du ha," ("Thank you,") she whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "Men, Sigi...vent, mer enn det...," ("But, Sigi...wait, more than that...,") Magnus continued, his tone earnest, "Jeg har innsett at du hadde rett når det gjaldt å starte en familie. Jeg har vært egoistisk, og tenkt bare på karrieren og ambisjonene mine. Men jeg vil at vi skal bygge en fremtid sammen, en som inkluderer barn." ("I've realized that you were right about wanting to start a family. I've been selfish, thinking only about my career and ambitions. But I want us to build a future together, one that includes children.") Tears welled up in Sigrid's eyes at his words, overwhelmed by the depth of his repentance and newfound resolve. "Magnus, jeg...jeg vet ikke hva jeg skal si." ("Magnus, I...I don't know what to say.") "Si at du vil tilgi meg," ("Say you'll forgive me,") Magnus pleaded, his voice filled with longing. "Og at vi kan gå videre sammen." ("And that we can move forward together.") Sigrid felt a wave of relief wash over her, knowing that they were finally on the same page. "Jeg gleder meg til å se deg når du kommer hjem." ("I can't wait to see you when you get home.") Sigrid's heart swelled with love at his declaration, her gaze flickering nervously once again to Marcus in the corner. "Jeg elsker deg også, Magnus. Jeg kommer snart hjem." ("I love you too, Magnus. I'll be home soon,") she said before hanging up. She placed the phone down on the table and looked at Marcus. "He...he's trying," she said, a mix of gratitude and frustration in her voice. "He wants to try and repair our marriage." She paused. "I just hope I'm doing the right thing." Marcus nodded understandingly. "It's a complicated situation, Sigi. Just remember, you need to do what's right for you." She managed a small smile, appreciating his support and understanding. "Thanks, Marcus. I really do." Marcus paused, his tone sincere yet respectful. "Look, last night I knew you were married, Sigi. And that doesn't change what we did. But I don't want to complicate things for you. I enjoyed every single minute of last night, but I also want to respect the boundaries you need...for your marriage, for your life." Sigrid nodded, a mixture of emotions swirling within her. She swallowed nervously, finally finding her voice. "I appreciate that, Marcus. I really do. Last night was... unexpected. But I need to focus on Magnus and figure out what's best for us." Marcus stood up, a genuine smile on his face. "I get it. You've got my number, I'm always here if you ...
