... didn't feel right or at least it felt different to normal. She felt uncomfortably moist between her legs, she was never normally sexually aroused on her way to work!

She pulled into the corner shop car park, parked up and hurried into the shop. She found the mint imperials she was looking for and picked up a bag, went to turn towards the till then turned back again and grabbed another two packets. Was she imagining it or was her mouth tasting or worse still, smelling like a toilet.

Katie placed all three bags on the counter and looked up at the checkout assistant. "Morning!" said the girl. "A sweet tooth today?"

Katie just smiled and handed over some cash. She didn't want to risk saying anything in case her breath still smelt. Instead, she just smiled. 'Oh god! She thought 'I hope my teeth aren't still brown!'

She hurriedly left the shop, returned to her car and checked her teeth in the rearview mirror. Happy that they were clean, she drove to work. After parking her car in the usual space Katie made her way to her office. She opened one bag of mints on the way and popped two sweets into her mouth. She knew she would be overdosing on sugar before the day was finished. As she walked, she was convinced her mum's turds were tossing and turning in her stomach. 'Don't be silly' she thought, 'it will be alright, no one ever knows what I have for breakfast.' Katie knew she was becoming paranoid.

She waited half an hour before going in to see her boss, a fairly ...

Katie opened her handbag and took out her letter before handing it to him. He was a little surprised that Katie had handed in her notice but just treated it as part of his daily routine. Katie was a little disappointed that he seemed to just accept it. He did finish though by saying he was sorry to be losing her.

It was later that morning when Mrs Jenkins walked in the office and went over to Katie.

"I hear you are leaving us, it's such a shame, you were showing lots of potential Katie."

"Thank you." Was all Katie thought to say. Any more and she would be devastated if Mrs Jenkins could smell her breath. She was caught by surprise you see. She hadn't had time to pop another mint into her mouth.

"Have you found another job?

'Oh fuck' thought Katie, 'she wants a conversation! What if my breath smells, are my teeth clean? Yes, they must be surely! I cleaned my teeth twice.... and rinsed with mouth wash. Fuck, what if she notices?'

"Katie, I'm talking to you! Have you found another job?"

"Oh sorry, yes, umm, err no, no I haven't got another job." Katie was flustered, she always got flustered whenever Mrs Jenkins spoke to her but today she was far more flustered than usual.

"No!" Mrs Jenkins sounded surprised. "So why are you leaving then, you have a bright future here you know."

'Oh god' thought Katie, 'just the question I didn't want!' "Umm, er, I want a change that's all, I can't see myself working in an office all my life." ...
