... the office was picking her up early for the trip back over to the office. Linda told her that she understood and hoped that Donna would want them to get together again, sometime soon to see what might happen next.

Donna revealed the general area of the state that she lived in, and Linda was able to name a couple of larger cities that she could visit so that Donna would be out of town for their next visit. Donna wondered what kind of story she would have to tell her husband as a reason for her wanting to spend a weekend in another city with another woman. Perhaps a get-together with a couple of old college girlfriends who just happened to be in this part of the country and wanted to get together.

As Donna had been contemplating what she was going to tell her husband, she noticed that Linda had moved her chair closer to Donna’s. Linda told Donna that she knew that this evening would be ending soon and that they would be going to separate hotel rooms in separate hotels. She wanted Donna to know that she found Donna to be very attractive both inside and outside, and while she had no intentions of replacing her husband in her life, she hoped that they could get together in the future to spend the night together.
