Generally, Carrie and I both found ways to avoid being in the room together unless it was time to sleep. It wasn't that she was a bad person; we were just polar opposites and had zero common ground. Carrie wore leather all the time and didn't believe in personal hygiene, which was problematic under normal circumstances. I tend to be a social person and I am a shameless flirt. I'd like to think my outgoing, sunny personality allowed me to make friends quickly but I also know my looks played a big part, especially with the guys. I mean, it's college. For most, it's the first time living on their own and being young adults, the level of general horniness is pretty damn high all the time.
