Karen has grown beautiful blond hair too and a tail just like mine which she said was horrendous and really moaned about until I pointed out that I had been wearing mine most of the day! That scene was definitely difficult as we had to be upside down pretending to be horizontal and supported on these wires and belts which they edited out, all so our hair being blown about by a fan looked like it was in water. Pretending to swim really made my legs and arms ache, but the effect they achieved was quite impressive when they slowed it down. We did look so hot as mermaids and Clive used the remote camera to take a load of pictures of Karen and me with our tails still on, some with us sitting on his and George's laps with a glass of Prosecco in our hands! One of those came out really brilliantly with everyone having adorable smiles. Karen and I actually looked quite modest with the hair surreptitiously covering our tits! Surrep-TIT-ious - ha ha! Karen and I got changed, but left the make-up on. I loved it and really wanted it to stay on forever! George and Clive played around with the various clips and then we watched the provisional edit. He worked on the mermaid photo and made it look like it was an old fake article from the National Enquirer and sent us copies - that was definitely one to keep, in fact, when I went to visit George's a few weeks later he had a huge copy on his wall. It was pretty good I have to say and he told me he had one up in his office too that was causing quite a stir. George bought us all dinner at some swishy restaurant which was full of B-list celebrities. He could always always get a table as he had some deal with the place. You would not believe the attention we got and George even had to shoo away some paparazzi taking pictures while he was talking to the doorman. Just going up to the front of the queue and going in was just so cool. It was the sort of thing that used to really wind me up when I was on the other side of the celebrity fence, but hey, now I'm on this side, if that's how it works, that's how it works. Karen and I slept like logs that night and I was really sad to say goodbye to her. I couldn't help it. I didn't want to leave her and my eyes just welled up when I told her that I loved her.
