I laugh at her reaction, my heart swelling at the sight of her excitement. "Believe me, it's very real," I assure her, my hand reaching out to hold hers. "And as for why Italy... well, I have a house there, small little place really, and I was planning on spending my vacation there. I can't think of anyone I would rather spend it with."

She blushes at my words, her eyes dropping to our intertwined hands. "I... I'm not sure what to say," she stammers, clearly overwhelmed. "This is... this is a lot to process."

"I understand," I reply, giving her hand a reassuring squeeze. "Take your time. We don't have to decide anything right now."

She nods, her gaze returning to mine. "Okay," she agrees, a soft smile on her lips. "Okay. Let's... let's do this. Let's go to Italy."

I return her smile, my heart pounding with anticipation. "Perfect," I reply, pulling her into my arms for a soft kiss. "Italy, here we come."
