"What? Me? No, why would you want to?"

"Because I think you are amazing and want to take you out on a date," Mark says, giving her the wipes.

"I'm not a cheap date."

"Of course not,"

"Mark, have you ever had a girlfriend? Be honest." Mark looks away from her. "Oh Geesh, sorry, I didn't know it was a sore subject. Look, yeah, I would love for you to take me out on a date. Lord knows it's been a long time since I have been on one. But I have conditions if we do, do this."

"Okay, I'm down for whatever."

"You better be; you asked, remember," Autumn says, putting on her pants and starting the car. "Alright, I'm gonna take you home."

"Great, I really need to finish this homework." Autumn drives him to the apartment complex. He contemplates if he should kiss her on the way out of the car, but he decides against it. He awkwardly waves her as he exits the vehicle.

"See you tomorrow."

Mark walks inside his apartment and digs his bag for his science of light ...
    ... homework. He tries his best to complete his book assignment but quickly finds himself passed out with his head lying inside his book.

I am a writer in training and hope every chapter of either I.H.Y. or PM has me improving in some way, shape, or form as a writer. I am a novice to this genre of writing, but I really want to try all forms of writing in the future. I love writing. It is my therapy after a long day of work.
